Artist Analysis

DJ artist Kygo always stick with a running theme throughout their album covers, that being the colour blue. Just like Galantis they have stuck to a very basic image but have creatively used their chosen colour by having an ombré effect along the paint stripe, symbol at the top and the words “cloud nine”, this adds an extra bit of dimension to the artwork rather than having a block colour. It further stands out against the grey/white background. I like this album piece as it’s very simple but looks like a professional cover, the way the paint stripe is also dripping, gives it that bit of edginess.
